The flat weave, made from longer cotton fibres, is what makes Turkish towels, or peshtemals, so special and means that these towels:
- feel smooth and will soften with each wash
- are lightweight
- are very absorbent
- dry quickly
- leave the sand at the beach
- are great for travel and can be used as a scarf, wrap or sarong.
Best of all, they are made from all natural fibres (OEKO TEX certified), using less water AND often last longer than other towels. So they are an eco-friendly and sustainable choice.

I bought the Yamba towels to try in my massage clinic. Normal towels are heavy, use much water to wash and takes time to dry. These Turkish towels are light, soft and best of all are long! I think they will make a good replacement in my clinic. So far, I love them
