How to choose a Turkish towel

There is so much choice, how do you pick the right Turkish towel? Here's our practical tips to help you choose the perfect luxurious beach or bath towel.

Turkish Beach Towels

The flat weave, using longer high quality cotton threads, is what makes Turkish towels so special. They are the original sand-free towel as the sand doesn't stick to the flat weave. All our towels are made from natural fibres so they are soft and get softer with every wash.

The flat weave also makes Turkish towels super absorbent and lightweight. Use the weight as a guide to help you choose the right towel for you, depending on what is important to you.

• All of our towels are long - around 180cms.
• Those with a bamboo blend are softer and heavier.
• The heavier the towel the more absorbent and soft it will be.
• The lighter towels will dry more quickly and be better space savers.
• Pick a design that you like. 
• Pick your favourite colour.
• Choose 2 if you can't decide :)

Turkish Bath Towels

At Pippah we have bath towels in 3 weights and living in Queensland we love all 3 at different times of the year. All our bath towels are extra long and considered bath sheets.

• The lightest weight waffle towel, Esperance, is great for summer, especially if you like to wrap yourself in a towel for a little while after your shower.
• The mid weight Yamba and Kirra waffle towels are great for us all year. Living in Queensland, these are our favourite. We also have matching Kirra hand towels.
• The super plush and heavy Cable pom pom towels are divine! We use them in winter but other states could indulge all year round.
